Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By using WeMeetWeMet, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be at least 18 years old to use WeMeetWeMet.
2. Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide accurate information during registration. One account per person. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
3. Planning Window
WeMeetWeMet is designed to encourage real-life meetings. After a match, the app gently nudges both of you to plan a date. Matches that go inactive for seven days fade out of your active list to keep the experience focused on people you’re actually connecting with. Faded matches do not result in account suspension or restriction — you can match with new people at any time.
4. Safety
We recommend meeting matches at one of our Curated Dates — public places and activities we have reviewed as suitable for a first meeting — but you may choose any public venue or activity that feels right for you. Safety features (GPS check-in, trusted contacts, SOS) are available at any time and are strongly encouraged; none are required to use the app. False SOS reports may result in account review.
5. Prohibited Conduct — Zero Tolerance
WeMeetWeMet has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You may not: harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate other users; create fake profiles or misrepresent yourself; share sexually explicit, nude, violent, hateful, discriminatory, or illegal content; solicit money or engage in commercial activity; impersonate others; attempt to circumvent safety features; or use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to interact with the service. Violations result in immediate account termination without refund. You can report abusive users and objectionable content from any user's profile or chat — reports are reviewed within 24 hours and action is taken against verified violations.
6. User Content & Moderation
You retain ownership of content you post (photos, bio, messages). By posting, you grant WeMeetWeMet a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and transmit that content within the service. You represent that all content you post is your own, that you have the right to share it, and that it does not contain objectionable content as defined in Section 5. We actively moderate uploads and may remove any content — and terminate any account — that violates these terms, applicable laws, or Apple App Store / Google Play policies. False or malicious reports are themselves a violation of these terms.
7. Subscriptions
WeMeetWeMet offers free and paid tiers. Plus membership ($14.99/month) provides additional features. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Refunds are handled per Apple App Store or Google Play Store policies.
8. Limitation of Liability
WeMeetWeMet is provided "as is." We do not guarantee compatibility with any match. We are not responsible for the conduct of users outside the app. While we vet Curated Dates for safety, we cannot guarantee your safety at any venue.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Delete My Account). Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
